The Institute for Inclusive Security is seeking experts on gender and constitution building to assist with workshops planned in Sudan in early May 2011 .
Following the recent vote for separation, North and South Sudan will endeavor on different paths of constitutional reform. For many years, Inclusive Security has worked with dynamic and diverse Sudanese women seeking to elevate women's voices all aspects of decision-making. During this important phase in Sudan's history, we want to continue supporting their efforts to ensure an inclusive constitutional reform process and a gender sensitive constitution in both new states.
Inclusive Security is seeking individuals who have participated in constitutional development processes and have expertise in the following areas:
The Institute will select candidates based on experience in constitutional processes as well as contextual knowledge of Sudan's political and legal environment. We are seeking experts that can travel for up to one week to provide trainings and conduct consultations in Sudan with women's groups in civil society and government. The consultancy will be paid, as well as travel, accommodation, and per diem covered.
