The
PeaceWomen Project initiated the 1325 PeaceWomen E-Newsletter in
May 2002 as a means to maintain the momentum and visibility of UNSC
Resolution 1325, to advocate for its full and rapid implementation,
and to share information with UN staff, government representatives
and civil society actors about Resolution 1325 and related women,
peace and security issues.
