Monthly Action Points (MAP) on Women, Peace and Security, NGOWG, December 2010

The NGO Working Group on Women, Peace and Security has released the December 2010 version of our Monthly Action Points (MAP) on Women, Peace and Security for the UN Security Council.

For December, in which the United States of America has the Security Council presidency, the MAP provides recommendations on country situations such as Afghanistan, Burundi, Chad, Cote d'Ivoire, Guinea, and Sudan. The MAP also provides recommendations on the upcoming Council discussion on Women, Peace and Security, specifically on the forthcoming Secretary-General's report on sexual violence in conflict, and on the Council's upcoming discussion on counter-terrorism.
