INTERNATIONAL: Statistic of Women to Men Representation

Kvinna till Kvinna has put together statistics from different sources highlighting the representation of women and men in peace negotiations and important positions linked to the peace and security agenda within UN, EU and Sweden.

On 31 October 2000UN Security Council adopted resolution 1325 on women, peace and security. Resolution 1325 stresses the importance of equal participation of women and their full involvement in all efforts for the maintenance and promotion of peace and security and the need to increase their role in decision making with regard to conflict prevention and resolution.
