“Booted: Lack of Recourse for Wrongfully Discharged US Military Rape Survivors,” is a report resulting from a 28-month investigation by Human Rights Watch with the support of Protect our Defenders. The report found that many military personnel were unfairly discharged rendering then ineligible for benefits. The result of these unfair dismissals permeates the life of veterans including employment, health care, disability payments, and child custody.
