Highlight:

WILPF has been a leader in the development of analysis, policy, and advocacy for the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons and in the broader movement to ban nuclear weapons. WILPF monitored the open-ended working group on nuclear disarmament, the Arms Trade Treaty conference of State parties and preparatory meetings, the Convention on Conventional Weapons Review Conference and preparatory meetings, the informal meeting of experts on autonomous weapons, the Biennial Meeting of States on small arms and light weapons, the UN General Assembly First Committee on Disarmament and International Security. The reporting and analysis of these processes continue to be seen as instrumental in increasing transparency and understandings of these processes, and to be influential in helping to shape the narrative and thinking around humanitarian disarmament. A recommendation from the evaluation to WILPF was how WILPF can ensure this important work is costed.
