The report below reviews and assesses the extent to which Member States have implemented the agreed conclusions from the fifty-eighth session of the Commission on the Status of Women on the challenges and achievements in the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals for women and girls. The report summarizes the progress, gaps and challenges relating to action taken at the national level in implementing the agreed conclusions. The current review takes place subsequent to the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which is in the early stages of implementation. Accordingly, the focus of the review is on action taken to transition to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
