The program of listening to problems facing women in the rural areas, opened this year by the government, indicates the promotion of human rights in the country.
This was said by the State secretary of Justice and Human Rights, António Bento Bembe, while speaking on Monday to journalists in central Huambo province, where he started a three-day visit in order to assess the functioning of the sector.
The government official highlighted that the expansion and approximation of services of justice and fight against poverty reflect also the sensibility of Angolan Government in the context of promotion, valorization in accordance with the human rights.
The secretary of state indicated the gradual improvement of living conditions of citizens in liberty and in conflict with the law, as well as the approval of the law against domestic violence.
To him, the public institutions, apart from the government partners are the ways in which the State fulfil its responsibilities with more attention for valorization of dignity of citizens, and the responsibility of each other to do a deep approach on that.
The Cabinet official defended the need of a joint work of sensitizing the young people in order to change their mentality and to promote more and more the rights of each citizen within and out of community, as well as the observance of human rights and responsibility of all.
