On behalf of the Women's Refugee Commission, the UK Mission to the United Nations will be hosting an event in honor of the launch of a recently published report, Strong Girls, Powerful Women: Program Planning and Design for Adolescent Girls in Humanitarian Settings.

This report "synthesises findings from the organisation's three-year initiative to find ways to equip adolescent girls in humanitarian settings with the skills and resources they need to transition safely to adulthood. Investing in girls' potential in humanitarian contexts is critical. Changing humanitarian practice to reach these girls need not be complex. WRC's report shows how humanitarian actors can achieve positive outcomes for girls right now by just making small investments that will go a long way to help girls claim their rights and improve their lives."
