UNITED Nations Development Programme staff participated in a knowledge-sharing forum on the role of women in peace and security.
UNDP communications associate Reama Biumaiono said the initiative was an effort to enhance knowledge sharing among colleagues.
"We invited the co-ordinator of FemLINK Pacific, Sharon Bhagwan-Rolls, to talk about the work of FemLINK and their involvement and engagement with the UN Security Council resolution 1325 which looks at the role of women in peace and security," she said.
