Jamaica calls upon the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to provide a framework for Member States to develop a robust programme to help bring an end to this affront to human dignity and freedom.”

At the same time, we are on the cusp of the 20th Anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women, to be celebrated in 2015. This is, therefore, an opportune moment to evaluate the progress made in safeguarding the rights of women and children.”
