When: October 27, 2010 1:15 – 2:30PM
Where: United Nations North Lawn Building, room 7

The study analyzes the current resources available and actors involved in costing and financing the implementation of UNSCR 1325 and women, peace and security programming at the national level. There are clear differences in the priorities, capacity, infrastructure, policies, human and financial resources of governments. How the money is spent, and which region or country benefits from the funds, is influenced by these factors among many others.

It analyzes the role of different actors, and various funding channels for women, peace and security work including the role of civil society in resource generation. Additionally, the study examines the role of the private sector in promoting human development, gender equality and sustainable peace.
