State Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and National Director of project “Fight against sexual and gender-based violence” Snezana Lakicevic will open the National conference “Response to violence against women in family and partner relations” on 29 June at 9.30 at the Deputies' Club, Tolstojeva 2.

The conference will be attended among others by Head of the Directorate for Gender Equality Natalija Micunovic, representative of UNDP in Serbia Jelena Tadzic, as well as representatives of institutions and organisations that provide protection to victims of sexual and gender-based violence.

The National strategy for prevention of violence against women in the family and partner relations that was adopted by the Serbian government will be presented at the event.

The project “Fight against sexual and gender-based violence” is financed by the Norwegian government and implemented by the Directorate for Gender Equality of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy with the support of UNDP.
