STATEMENT: Message from Kurdish Women to All Peace Loving and Advocates for Human Rights in the World

On this United Nation's anniversary day for Universal Peace

We salute you for promoting Peace and Justice and Equality. On this historical and triumphant day when the world celebrates peace through many carnivals and focuses on establishment of peace and coexistence among diverse ethnic groups, and rejects war and injustice–we Kurdish women from all over the world express our happiness for this celebration, which is happening for the first time in Kurdistan Region.

We appeal to you –peace-loving people to support basic human rights for Kurdish people and help them to achieve Peace and Democracy and reach their national and cultural rights through law and determination, implementation of laws and articles in relation with Human Rights.

To achieve self-determination rights for Kurds in states where they have Kurds, does not negate other nation's rights and culture...

Kurds as all free and independent nations of the world deserve a life with dignity, freedom, democracy and full of blessings.

Kurdish history indicates that Kurds have never pursued war, neither have taken away anybody's rights or occupied any one's land. Kurds have taken arms only to save their own lives and their nation's rights.

In this regard, in the name of Kurdish women, peacefully and respectfully we demand you– urge those states that have kurdish population– to honor and respect laws and implement the united nation's UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS..

Once again we support the Security council's resolution 1325, in the year 2000 , which focuses on the role of women to achieve peace, stop destructive wars and serve at centers for protecting women in violence.

Based on historical and national responsibilities of women which is the source of our pride, we are for peace and freedom and reject war—as it is clear women have suffered the most during war and violence.

Once again we salute you for your great achievements.
