Civil society representatives from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Burundi, Canada, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Colombia, Fiji, India, Iraq, Kenya, Libya, Nepal, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Serbia, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sweden and Uganda who took part in the Women Count 2014 monitoring exercise will highlight the gains, gaps and challenges in implementation of the key pillars of the resolution: participation, prevention and protection, and promotion of gender equality in peace and security work. They will also present the trends in implementation over the last five years as well as practical recommendations on how to improve implementation.
