Statement of the Republic of the Congo at the UNGA72

Extract:

Nuclear weapons: The renewed tensions in the Korean peninsula could open a nuclear conflict without common measure.

Syria/Iraq: The situation in Syria and Iraq, the Israeli-Palestinian, the nuclear issue, the crisis in Africa and in other parts of the world that openly pose a moral requirement and urgency in regards to peace.

SDG 16: Each time the circumstances permit, the Congo is working to defend the ideals of peace and justice in Africa and the rest of the world.

Libya: Moreover, there have been research solutions to end this current crisis in Libya, within the framework of the mandate entrusted by the African Union in the Congo that assures progress in the right direction.

Libya: From this podium, I would like to highlight the determination of my country to continuously be in favour of peace in Libya.
