Korean Women, South and North: Peace, Reconciliation, Rights, and Development- Women Cross DMZ

This is a video of women crossing Korea’s Demilitarised Zone as a act in support of a more long-term, sustainable peace process.

Currently the war between North and South Korea is not officially over, instead there is a long term ceasefire in place and the border remains a contentious issue. In this initiative, women were pushing for a different narrative- one that brings people together instead of pushing them apart.
