Protection: "Regrettably, violence against women continues to be found in every region. Girls and adolescents still lack sufficient access to good-quality information and education, which help to reduce inequalities."

Participation: “The first priority of this Assembly will be gender equality and the empowerment of women, which is an ongoing debt owed to over half of the world’s population that is holding back global development. Achieving women’s economic and productive inclusion could increase world gross domestic product by 11 per cent by 2025.”
