Participation: I congratulate Mrs. Maria Fernanda Espinosa Garces, for being elected as the first Latin American woman and fourth woman to hold the position of President of the General Assembly.

Reconstruction and peacebuilding: Consolidating peace is not an easy task, since parts of the armed conflict weakened our institutions.
