Janet Benshoof, President of the Global Justice Center, will be speaking at 6 Years Later, IWPR in Iraq: Giving Voice, Driving Change to celebrate the launch of the Institute for War & Peace Reporting's new online news and programming platform. Janet will be speaking alongside Ammar Al Shahbander, Chief of Mission at IWPR, and Sean Maguire, Global Editor for Political News at Thomson Reuters. The discussion will focus on Iraq and offer behind the scenes perspectives on transparency and accountability, the recent elections and regional implications, legal and security issues, human rights, women's issues, civil society building and other top concerns in Iraq.
