Interactive Dialogue between the Intergovernmental Committee of Experts on Sustainable Development Financing and Non-State Actors

"This dialogue will inform the fifth plenary session of the ICESDF taking place from 4-8 August. The Committee is working to finalize its report proposing options to the UN General Assembly "on an effective sustainable development financing strategy to facilitate the mobilization of resources and their effective use in achieving sustainable development objectives," as mandated in the Rio+20 Summit outcome document.

The Co-Chairs of the ICESDF provided a public briefing on 18 July, organized by UN-NGLS, on progress of the Committee's work to date. A structured summary of the 18 July briefing will serve as the basis for the 5 August dialogue. Questions for the ICESDF in response to the information in this summary may be submitted via this online form until 3 August. As time permits, questions will be selected to be addressed by the ICESDF Experts and Co-Chairs during the event. The questions submitted will be posted here as they are received.
