From 7.30-8.30am 29 November, International Women's Development Agency (IWDA) is holding a moderated panel discussion on violence against women at BMW Edge.

The panel discussion falls within the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, an international campaign calling for an end to violence against women. It also coincides with International Women Human Rights Defenders Day.

Panellists:

Christine Nixon - Former Chief Commissioner of Victoria Police (2001-2009)

Khin Mar Mar Kyi - Australian-Burmese Activist, Anthropologist and Documentary Film Maker

Kathleen Maltzahn - Author of Trafficked and founder of Project Respect

Anj Barker - Victorian Young Australian of the Year (2011) and survivor of relationship violence
