Director Kimberly Bautista and the Justice for My Sister Collective in Los Angeles and Guatemala will be activating a global 16-day digital campaign to end gender-based violence. On November 25th 2014 - International Day to Eliminate Violence Against Women - Bautista will kick off the campaign by hosting a live virtual panel with Mexican actress and advocate Kate del Castillo at 8 pm EST on www.youtube.com/justiceformysister addressing domestic violence and the under reported issue of femicide in Central America.

This will be followed by the release of 16 short documentaries on the YouTube channel with testimonials of resilient women and men that have decided to #BreaktheSilence. The webseries is intended to chronicle stories of survival in order to encourage others to break the silence and prevent gender-based violence before it happens. The collectives are recruiting social media ambassadors to promote the campaign, which is accompanied by a Kickstarter online fundraiser to expand the Justice for My Sister educational training program. The feature documentary has already reached audiences in 20 countries and counting, and received numerous awards internationally.
