Jacqui True at Kvinna till Kvinna

Professor and specialist in gender and international relations, women, peace and security Jacqui True gave a lecture at Kvinna til Kvinnas staff in Stockholm in September 2016. The lecture focuses on the political economy dimensions of peacebuilding and the long term prevention of violence. Her own research has shown that women are more economically vulnerable and more at risk of facing gender based violence when economic policies in post-conflict countries tend to increase the market economy and decrease their public sector.
