The NAP-GBV 2017-2021 extends the government's commitment to ending gender-based violence in Timor-Leste, based on a multi-sector implementation and has been developed in accordance with the national laws and international commitments of the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), the International Convention on the Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), the International Covenant on Social and Economic Rights (ICSER) and the Convention on the Rights of the Children (CRC).
