Around the world, girls experience violence on the way to school, at school, and around school – which often results in low attendance, low performance and early drop out in addition to the health and social consequences associated with sexual and gender-based violence. This briefing will feature implementers of an innovative program to address school-related gender-based violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as key advocates and policymakers working to prevent and address violence against women and girls worldwide
