Report Analysis: 

• There were two references to women within the document.

• In para 24, the Secretary-General discussed the continued regular liaison and outreach activities of the Lebanese Civil Affairs Office and Civil-Military Coordination teams, detailing environmental and health awareness campaigns and cultural activities in public schools and with local youth and women groups.

• In para 60, the Secretary-General detailed that as of 14 February 2012, the total military strength of UNIFIL was 12,091, including 470 women. As of that date, the mission had 348 international and 657 national civilian staff members, of whom 100 and 168, respectively, were women. 52 UNTSO military observers of the Observer Group Lebanon, five of who are women, he noted, also support UNIFIL.
