Event Highlights:
- The event will provide new ideas and insights for effective UNSCR 1325 implementation, highlighting the need for a holistic gender perspective. This includes addressing masculinities and the role of men in gender, peace & security.
- The speakers will give a wide variety of practical examples of gender mainstreaming based on their extensive experience in peacebuilding and conflict prevention policy and practice.
- The event will showcase the quality and potential of partnerships between different stakeholders, both men and women and between peacebuilding organizations, for strengthening efforts for gender-sensitive peace.
