Women, Peace and Security: UN Security Council Resolution 1325 Where are we after 10 years?

UK WILPF invites you to our Autumn Seminar on Resolution 1325.

It is now ten years since the much-welcomed United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 was passed. WILPF and other NGOs helped to draft UNSCR 1325 which highlights the vital role women can and ought to be playing in conflict prevention, peace negotiations and post-war reconciliation and the reconstruction of civil society. This seminar will look at the importance of this resolution and those that followed, with particular reference to its application in the UK.

Come along to listen and join our discussions on how UNSCR 1325 has improved the contributions women are able to make in conflict prevention and resolution.
