W7 Feminist Vision For The G7, Ottawa 2018

In May 2018, WEDO joined the W7 Feminist Summit in Canada (held from June 8-9, 2018), together with 70 feminists from around the globe, to generate key recommendations for G7 leaders to make choices that improve women’s rights and gender equality not only in their countries, but globally. These #W7Canada recommendations included: Adopt Intersectional feminism; Facilitate women’s economic empowerment; Build a more peaceful and secure world; Work together on climate change; Adopt a feminist approach to #SRHR; End #VAW; Build feminist movements.
