Letter dated 7 June 2018 from the Permanent Representatives of Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Italy and Singapore to the United Nations addressed to the Secretary-General

Pursuant to rule 13 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly, the Governments of Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Italy and Singapore have the honour to jointly request the inclusion of an item entitled “Strengthening and promoting the international treaty framework” in the provisional agenda of the seventy-third session of the General Assembly. We further request that this item be allocated to the Sixth Committee of the General Assembly. In accordance with rule 20 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly, enclosed herewith is an explanatory memorandum (see annex). We should be grateful if the present letter and its annex could be circulated as a document of the General Assembly.
