WILPF Letter to Ambassadors on Security Council consideration of Yemen and Women, Peace and Security, February 2015

WILPF has pressed the Security Council to take decisive action on the current crisis in Yemen to ensure implementation of Women, Peace and Security agenda in how the Council deals with the evolving crisis situation, which means that the ongoing, systematic discrimination facing Yemen’s women will only worsen as women continue to be absent from the negotiations and peace processes overall.
