SG Report - Situation of and assistance to Palestinian women

The present report, submitted in accordance with Economic and Social Council resolution 2015/13, highlights the situation of Palestinian women for the period from 1 October 2014 to 30 September 2015 and provides an overview of the assistance provided by the entities of the United Nations system with regard to education and training; health; economic empowerment and livelihoods; the rule of law and violence against women; power and decision -making; and institutional development. The report concludes with recommendations for consideration by the Commission on the Status of Women.
