The Peacebuilding Fund was launched in 2006 delivers funding through two facilities, the Immediate Response Facility and the Peacebuilding and Recovery Facility. It aims to build long lasting peace projects that respond to imminent threats and support peace agreements, build and strengthen national capacities to peaceful conflict resolution, stimulate economic revitalisation to generate peace dividends and re-establish essential administrative services.
