The Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP) came out with the report, "Costing and Financing 1325: Examining the Resources Needed to Implement UN Security Council Resolution 1325 at the National Level as well as the Gains, Gaps and Glitches on Financing the Women, Peace and Security Agenda" in May 2011.
The purpose the report is to highlight the different issues regarding resource implementation of Security Council resolution 1325 (2000) at the national level. It provides an analysis of the current situation of mobilising domestic and international financial resources for the development of the agenda on women and peace and security, analyzes approaches to calculating the cost of a 1325 National Action Plan, and how resources of different initiatives have been used to support the implementation of resolution 1325.
