National Plan for Equal Opportunities (2008)

Countries:
Bolivia

This plan is a development strategy with a common vision: that Bolivia fully recognize the contribution of women to the development of the country. This recognition must be expressed in equal opportunities to access services, full participation in decision-making spaces, equitable distribution of economic resources, technological and patrimonial resources, creating the conditions for a life free of gender-based violence. To achieve this vision, Bolivia as a whole must compromise effective investments in six themes of development: economic, labor, education, health, gender-based violence, political participation and citizenship and institutional strengthening.
